Antresian was born on February 16, 1922 in Indianapolis, Indiana and has had an interest and has worked in lithography since the age of seventeen, being introduced to the medium by discovering a hand press at Arsenal Technical High School. He received his BFA in 1948 at the Herron in Indianapolis.
